Dr. Chris Rizzo,
D.C.
Dr. Rizzo grew up in Montville, New
Jersey where he found the inspiration to become a chiropractor as a Freshman. During Varsity soccer tryouts, he
partially tore his right quadriceps and thought his chances of making the team were gone. A family friend, who
happened to be a chiropractor, suggested a visit to his office. Chris received care and was back on the field the
next day! He went on to be a three sport (soccer, basketball, and lacrosse) Varsity athlete.
He received All-State recognition in soccer and was the Academic Athlete of the
year as a senior. Dr. Rizzo turned down a number of Division I and III soccer offers to concentrate on academics at
Boston College. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there and fulfilled his pre-chiropractic requirements, while
graduating with Honors from BC. Go Eagles! He then enrolled in world renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa. During his last two years at Palmer, Dr. Rizzo taught gross and spinal anatomy labs. He also began
taking courses to specialize in extremity and sports injuries to become a Certified Chiropractic Extremity
Practitioner. Dr. Rizzo went on to graduate with Honors from Palmer. He has also gone on to become a certified
personal trainer. Dr. Rizzo loves playing all kinds of sports especially basketball, softball, and golf (more
accurately, attempting to play golf!). He also enjoys watching his alma mater dominate the ACC in football and
basketball, while he roots on the New York Yankees and Giants in professional sports.
